Classic Cheeseburger

  • Ingredients:

    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 4 hamburger buns
    • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
    • Lettuce leaves
    • Sliced tomatoes
    • Sliced onions
    • Pickles
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise)

Instructions:

Divide the ground beef into four equal parts and shape them into patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles on the bottom half of each bun. Add the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, then add your desired condiments. Place the top half of the bun over everything.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
